The content of this site is informational and maintained with reasonable care. Even so, there are limits worth knowing: this page explains them clearly so you know what to expect and what not to.
1. Use of the site's information
The information published on the site is for guidance only. It serves to inform you about available services, coverage areas, and the status of a shipment, and does not replace the proposal Cuba Envios prepares for each specific case.
Making contractual or logistical decisions based on the site's general information, without waiting for Cuba Envios's written confirmation, is the responsibility of the person using it.
2. Price and timeframe information
The site does not publish rates. The prices and timeframes confirmed in writing in each proposal depend on the type of service, destination, volume, declared contents, and the conditions in force at the time of contracting.
The conditions of flight, accommodation, and vehicle rental rates are those of the specific fare, which may change from one booking to another. If there is a difference between what appears here and what is confirmed in writing, what is confirmed always prevails.
3. Accuracy of traceability and milestones
Tracking information reflects the milestones reported by carriers and the operation's delivery network. It may arrive late, and the date of a milestone does not always match the actual date of a physical movement, because data is recorded in stages.
A shipment status query creates no commitment regarding the final result of delivery and does not replace the tracking carried out by the operation. The query is public, and the data it returns may include the name of the person recording each milestone: treat it with the same discretion you would apply to shipment data.
4. Third-party data and content
Certain parts of the site, such as blog articles or data provided by external services, are not controlled by Cuba Envios. They are included because they are useful, and the operation reviews them when it can, but it cannot guarantee their accuracy or permanence.
When third-party content contains an error, the fastest way to correct it is to report it to the operation, which forwards it to the corresponding responsible party.
5. Links to external sites
The site links to third-party pages, some of them from public agencies and reference services. Cuba Envios does not control those contents, their availability, or the data practices they apply, and the presence of a link does not imply endorsement of its publisher.
If a link becomes unavailable, the operation reviews and removes it, but it cannot guarantee that external links will work at all times.
6. Use of the service by minors
Cuba Envios's services are intended for persons of legal age. Anyone using the site below that age must do so with the accompaniment and supervision of an adult.
When the operation detects that a request comes from a minor, it contacts the responsible adult before continuing with the process.
7. Liability for force majeure or external causes
There are circumstances beyond the operation's control, such as extreme weather events, decisions by authorities, traffic restrictions, widespread failures in the transport network, or border closures. This also applies to circumstances depending on third-party action, such as the tracking platform.
In those cases, the operation informs you of what happened and does what is reasonable to maintain the service. Liability for damage such a situation may cause is limited to what the law permits.
8. Limits of liability
Cuba Envios's liability is limited to the amount actually charged for the operation in question, unless applicable law provides otherwise or there is willful misconduct or gross negligence.
No clause on this site may be understood as a waiver of the rights to which consumers are entitled, or as a limitation of liability for damages that the law does not permit to be limited.
