This policy explains what personal data we process, why we do so, for how long, and what choices you can make about it. This version of the site is informational and for contact purposes: the form does not send your data to any server; it composes it in your browser and opens WhatsApp.
1. Data controller
The data controller is ROSALES FAMILY CORP, DBA CUBA ENVIOS, with its principal place of business at 1327 NE Pine Island Rd, Suites 101–103, Cape Coral, FL 33909, USA. The designated representative is Anett Díaz García, President of Rosales Family Corp, at the same principal place of business.
The data protection address is Pending completion by legal counsel. While that email address does not exist, you may direct any data protection communication to the telephone number +1 (239) 258-7677, by WhatsApp at https://wa.me/12392587677, or at any of the three Florida offices (Cape Coral, Lehigh Acres, and Port Charlotte).
2. Data we process
The site does not store the data you enter: the form composes the message in your browser and opens WhatsApp. What the operation retains afterward is what you choose to send in that conversation and what is needed to manage the shipment.
- Identification and contact data: name, telephone number, and, when you provide it, email address.
- Request data: type of service, destination, approximate weight, and the message you write to us.
- Shipment data: the data the operation needs to manage it, such as the declared contents, their value, and the tracking number.
- Technical data from the tracking query: the order number or HBL you enter, which is sent to the public tracking API to return the shipment status, and the route data that API returns, which may include the name of the person recording each milestone. The site does not store that number or the query result in your browser.
3. How we use it
We process the data you provide to respond to your request: quote the service, coordinate delivery, handle any documentation the case requires, and communicate with you about the status of the operation.
We do not use data submitted through the form for marketing purposes without express and separate authorization.
4. Legal basis
The legal basis is your consent, which you give expressly by checking the corresponding box on the form and submitting the request, and the need to address what you have requested before accepting it. For public shipment status queries, the legal basis is Cuba Envios's legitimate interest in ensuring the traceability of ongoing operations, and no additional identifying data is processed.
5. Retention
The site does not retain the data you enter in the form. The data of a request is retained in Cuba Envios's customer service and operations systems while the operation is active and, once closed, for the period necessary to address legal or defensive responsibilities. Shipment documentation is retained for the periods required by the regulations applicable to the sector.
6. Recipients
The data you enter in the form leaves the site through WhatsApp and reaches the operation. This version of the site does not register shipments or recipients and does not process payments: the file is opened only when the operation accepts the request. From that point on, data is shared only when the service requires it, with the carrier moving the goods, with the operation's delivery network on the island, which performs delivery at destination and whose identity is not published on this site, and, when the destination requires a procedure, with the authorities of the destination country.
Site hosting is managed with cPanel and the domain with GoDaddy. The providers of those services act as processors to the extent applicable to them. The shipment status query sends only the identifier you enter to the operation's public tracking API; the name, telephone number, and form contents are not sent to that API.
7. Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection to the processing of your data, and withdraw consent at any time.
The written channel for exercising them is Pending completion by legal counsel, stating your name, the right you wish to exercise, and the request or tracking number to which it refers. We will respond within one month at the latest. While that email address does not exist, you may exercise them by telephone at +1 (239) 258-7677, by WhatsApp at https://wa.me/12392587677, or at any of the three Florida offices (Cape Coral, Lehigh Acres, and Port Charlotte).
8. Complaints
If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can complain through the service channels: telephone +1 (239) 258-7677, WhatsApp https://wa.me/12392587677, or the three Florida offices (Cape Coral, Lehigh Acres, and Port Charlotte). The customer service email address is Pending completion by legal counsel.
If the response does not resolve your case, you may complain to the appropriate consumer or consumer protection authorities. Cuba Envios operates under the jurisdiction of the State of Florida, United States, and there is no single supervisory authority: depending on the nature of the complaint, it may be the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS), the Florida Attorney General, or the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
This version of the site does not process consular requests online. If your query concerns a consular procedure, Cuba Envios handles matters relating to its own management and billing; official decisions on the procedure correspond to the competent consular authorities.
